Treatments of either are typically scheduled twice a year. Filler are injected in tiny amounts directly into the skin with an ultra fine needle. There is minimal discomfort with immediate results.

Avoid using aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication, St. John's Wort or high doses of Vitamin E supplements prior to treatment because these may cause bleeding or bruising at the injection site.

Patients may use both Botox Cosmetic and Restylane or Juvederm simultaneously.
